STAFF PHOTOGRAPHS (Pages 34–35)

From looking at the photographs and bearing in mind what you already know, can you match all the suspects’ names to their photographs on the suspect sheets?

SUSPECT A = Richard November
SUSPECT A =
Richard November
SUSPECT B = Sam Cooper
SUSPECT B =
Sam Cooper
SUSPECT C = Earnest Robinson
SUSPECT C =
Earnest Robinson
SUSPECT D = Mary Hawkins
SUSPECT D =
Mary Hawkins
SUSPECT E = Harriet Wheeler
SUSPECT E =
Harriet Wheeler
SUSPECT F = Bill Cooper
SUSPECT F =
Bill Cooper
SUSPECT G = Elizabeth Knight
SUSPECT G =
Elizabeth Knight
SUSPECT H = Stephen Cartwright
SUSPECT H =
Stephen Cartwright

You already know Dr. Elizabeth Knight and Earnest Robinson are Suspects G and C respectively as you’ve met them both face to face. The rest must be deduced from the staff photographs.

Harriet, Sam and Mary are all pictured in the top right photo. Sam and Mary are pictured together without Harriet further down the wall. The woman in the top right photo but not in the photo of just Sam and Mary must therefore be Harriet. Sam is featured in the bottom centre photo and Mary isn’t therefore the only woman featured in the bottom centre photo and the photo of Sam and Mary must be Sam and the other in the photo of just the two of them must therefore be Mary.

Now you know who Sam, Mary and Harriet are (and who Elizabeth is) you can work out who Stephen is from the top centre photo. Now you know who Stephen and Elizabeth are you can work out who Richard is from the photo at the bottom on the right and then who Bill is from the landscape photo in the centre.
