LOCKED DOOR – MUSEUM BASEMENT (Pages 90–91)

Can you work out the 6-letter word which will unlock the door to the Museum Basement?

JACKAL

Plot the letters onto the door using the metal rivets as a grid. Each set of tally marks carved into the stone are your co-ordinates to write out one of the letters. The first set of tally marks on each line gives you your Y axis (how many rows up/down), the second set gives you your X axis (how many columns across left/right). It must be that way round as the first tally marks (the groups on the left) go up to 9 and there are only 5 columns of rivets. Draw a line from one set of co-ordinates to the next to reveal the letters.
